About the internship
Wudhomes is building its core team in the home furnishings and furniture space, and this role sits at the heart of customer conversations and conversions. As an Inside Sales Intern, you will learn how to match customers with the right sofas, fabrics, and layouts while supporting the broader sales and customer experience process.
What you will do
- Understand what each customer is looking for by discussing room measurements, lifestyle preferences, seating needs, and budget.
- Help customers explore Wudhomes’ product range and suggest sofas, fabrics, and configuration options that fit their requirements.
- Coordinate and track factory visits, keep customer interactions moving, and ensure follow-ups happen on time.
- Maintain lead records in the CRM and keep data organized, accurate, and clean.
- Send curated product catalogs, design ideas, and relevant references to prospective customers.
- Join customer consultations and gradually build knowledge of furniture design, materials, and customization possibilities.
- Collaborate directly with the founders to refine sales workflows, customer journeys, and internal operating systems.

Requirements
- Strong verbal communication and comfort speaking clearly with customers.
- Ability to handle customer conversations over phone calls and WhatsApp.
- Previous exposure to sales, counselling, hospitality, or other customer-facing work is preferred.
- Interest in interior design, furniture, or home décor will be an advantage.
- Willingness to learn quickly and adapt in an early-stage startup environment.
Perks and additional information
- Monthly stipend of INR 15,000 to INR 15,001.

- Opportunity for a job offer after successful conversion to a permanent role, with expected annual compensation of INR 3,00,000 to INR 3,20,000.
