This opportunity is being shared on behalf of a partner organization that handles the application process and all subsequent hiring steps. The partner company is seeking a Global Design & Data Visualization Specialist located in Ireland.

The role brings together design, data interpretation, and international communications. Its core purpose is to turn complex research and analytical findings into visuals that are easy to understand, engaging to view, and effective across a global audience. You will collaborate with analysts, communicators, and regional teams across several continents to improve how energy and financial research is presented and consumed worldwide.

This is a highly collaborative, mission-focused environment where clarity, consistency, and storytelling through data are essential. The position supports both global design standards and local adaptation needs, helping preserve a unified visual identity while allowing flexibility for regional requirements. It is a hands-on creative role that values quick execution, accuracy, and conceptual thinking equally. Your work will help make high-volume research outputs more accessible and expand their global reach, particularly on topics related to energy transition and economics.

Accountabilities

Create and update polished design deliverables across shared global templates, such as reports, fact sheets, presentations, newsletters, and digital publications, while keeping everything aligned with brand rules and visual consistency.
Work with analysts to produce charts, graphs, maps, and interactive explainers that make complex research understandable for audiences without specialist knowledge.
Build a broad range of visual assets for both online and print use, including social media creatives, webinar materials, event graphics, presentation decks, website visuals, and partner-facing content.
Develop infographics and narrative visual formats that convert technical energy and finance research into content that is clear, engaging, and easy to share.
Help improve design systems, templates, and brand guidelines, and support regional teams through training and practical guidance on tools such as Flourish and other visualization platforms.
Provide extra design support to regional teams across different geographies during peak workloads or staffing gaps, helping maintain continuity.
Serve as a temporary design resource when needed, assisting with formatting, visualization, and production processes across time zones.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, data visualization, digital media, or a closely related discipline, along with 4 to 7 years of professional design experience.
Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office design tools, and data visualization platforms such as Flourish; experience with Canva and web-related tools like HTML/CSS, Drupal, or UX design is an added advantage.
Demonstrated ability to convert complex research, technical information, and data into accurate, clear, and visually appealing design outputs.
A strong portfolio showing work across reports, presentations, infographics, charts, maps, digital campaigns, and data-led storytelling.
Strong project management capability, with the ability to balance several deadlines, priorities, and stakeholders in an international setting.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills, including the ability to explain design choices and respond constructively to feedback from multicultural teams.
Excellent spoken and written English, plus willingness to work occasional early morning or late evening hours because of global coordination needs.
