Role overview
Kaipara District Council is looking for a capable Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to two General Managers. Based in Mangawhai or Dargaville, with work-from-home options available, this position sits close to the centre of organisational activity and requires someone who can stay ahead of priorities, manage sensitive matters carefully, and bring order to a busy environment.
Key duties
- Run complex calendars, schedule meetings, and balance overlapping priorities.
- Manage email inboxes and prepare professional correspondence.
- Create presentations, reports, and other business documents.
- Set agendas, record meeting minutes, and track actions through to completion.
- Support responses to complaints and enquiries with accurate, thoughtful information.
- Arrange travel, events, and associated logistics.
- Assist with finance-related administration, including budget tracking and reporting.
