Crystal Reports Analyst/Developer

Role overview

We are looking for a Crystal Reports Analyst/Developer to evaluate an existing portfolio of Crystal Reports and assist with report rationalization efforts. This position focuses on understanding how reports are used, what data they depend on, and how they support business KPIs so that unnecessary reporting can be reduced through consolidation, standardization, and retirement.

What you will do

• Examine the current Crystal Reports inventory, including scheduling patterns and how frequently reports are used.
• Study report logic, input parameters, calculations, and underlying data connections or dependencies.
• Spot reports that are outdated, duplicated, or no longer needed.
• Connect reports to business workflows and KPI needs.
• Help align KPI definitions across reporting assets so the reporting environment is more consistent.
• Record technical dependencies and any factors that need to be considered before retiring reports.
• Evaluate where reports can be merged or simplified.
• Assist in determining whether reports are ready for archival and decommissioning.

Additional information

The role supports a broader decommissioning roadmap aimed at reducing reporting overlap and redundancy. Technical analysis will be used to inform decisions around consolidation, archival, and retirement of reports.
