Role overview
This opportunity is shared on behalf of a partner organization that handles the hiring process and all follow-up steps. The client is seeking a Client Lead located in Ireland.
You will be responsible for steering a high-value relationship with a globally recognised sports brand. The role combines account ownership, delivery coordination, and growth support across a complex account that moves quickly and often changes direction based on live sports activity. As the main daily contact, you will keep product, engineering, and operations teams aligned so work is delivered accurately, on schedule, and at scale.
This is a highly independent position that brings together client leadership, cross-functional coordination, and strategic thinking. It suits someone who performs well in fast-moving environments and enjoys operating where sports, technology, and digital media intersect.
Accountabilities
- Take full ownership of a major enterprise client relationship and serve as the main everyday contact.
- Work with product, engineering, delivery, and operations teams to make sure client commitments are executed on time and correctly.
- Convert client requests into clear priorities, practical action plans, and organized delivery processes.
- Track account wellbeing, spot risks or blockers early, and push issues toward resolution before they grow.
- Support account planning, including roadmap coordination, renewals, and expansion discussions.
- Manage client reporting and performance insights so the outputs are useful and commercially valuable.
- Handle escalations and incidents with composure, keeping communication clear and resolution fast.
- Look for ways to improve delivery efficiency through modern tools and AI-assisted workflows.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in enterprise client management, account management, or customer success within a technology or SaaS setting.
- Strong capability to coordinate complex, multi-stakeholder work in demanding, fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical or operational topics in simple terms.
- Proven history of working across product, engineering, and operations functions.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability, paired with a proactive ownership mindset.
- Willingness to work US Eastern Time hours regardless of your location.
- Authentic interest in basketball and familiarity with major US sports cycles such as the season, playoffs, and drafts.
- Ability to predict client needs and act independently with minimal supervision.
- Background in SaaS, digital media, or sports-related accounts will be an advantage.
