Role Overview

The Auto Technician Team Leader will oversee technical work on vehicles, support the workshop team, and help ensure that defects are identified accurately and repairs are completed to the required standard.

Key Duties

• Use diagnostic tools to help identify vehicle issues and faults.
• Carry out or support road testing to confirm problems and understand vehicle behavior.
• Coordinate the work of junior team members and guide their day-to-day activities.
• Check and verify the quality of work completed by automotive technicians.
• Bring strong technical leadership along with the right professional attitude for the role.

Education and Experience

• A BA degree or diploma in auto mechanics or a closely related discipline is required.
• Applicants should have at least 5 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a team leader or supervisor position is needed.
• Prior experience leading technicians for at least 2 years is expected.
• Hands-on technical experience in the automotive industry is important.
• Leadership capability is essential for success in this role.
