About the internship

This part-time remote internship is for someone eager to support a cancer care nonprofit’s fundraising efforts and community-building mission. The role offers practical exposure to donor outreach, campaign coordination, proposal writing, and impact-driven social work. It is well suited to students and freshers who want to develop hands-on experience while contributing to a meaningful cause.

What you’ll do

Assist in planning and running fundraising campaigns for cancer care, awareness, and caregiver support programs.
Identify potential donors, CSR prospects, crowdfunding avenues, and aligned partner organizations through research.
Draft fundraising emails, donor outreach messages, proposals, appeal content, and campaign copy that communicate the organization’s impact.
Connect with donors, student groups, organizations, corporates, and community networks by email, WhatsApp, social platforms, LinkedIn, or phone to support fundraising outreach.
Maintain follow-ups with interested donors, partners, and supporters to keep communication timely and move conversations forward.
Update donor records, outreach trackers, campaign logs, follow-up sheets, and fundraising documentation.

Who can apply

Applicants must be available for remote work, able to begin the internship between 21 Jun 2026 and 26 Jul 2026, and available for the full 4-month duration. Candidates should have relevant interests and skills. Women looking to begin or restart their careers are also welcome to apply.

Other requirements

Open to students or freshers interested in fundraising, NGOs, social impact, outreach, partnerships, or CSR-related work.
Strong written and spoken English communication is needed.
Comfort with basic tools such as Google Sheets, Docs, Excel, and PowerPoint is expected.
Should be comfortable with research, outreach, follow-ups, and maintaining trackers.
Must be able to represent a mission-led organization in a professional and sensitive manner.
Experience in fundraising, outreach, NGO initiatives, student leadership, volunteering, or partnerships is helpful but not required.
