About the internship
This part-time remote internship is for someone eager to support a cancer care nonprofit’s fundraising efforts and community-building mission. The role offers practical exposure to donor outreach, campaign coordination, proposal writing, and impact-driven social work. It is well suited to students and freshers who want to develop hands-on experience while contributing to a meaningful cause.
What you’ll do
- Assist in planning and running fundraising campaigns for cancer care, awareness, and caregiver support programs.
- Identify potential donors, CSR prospects, crowdfunding avenues, and aligned partner organizations through research.
- Draft fundraising emails, donor outreach messages, proposals, appeal content, and campaign copy that communicate the organization’s impact.
- Connect with donors, student groups, organizations, corporates, and community networks by email, WhatsApp, social platforms, LinkedIn, or phone to support fundraising outreach.
- Maintain follow-ups with interested donors, partners, and supporters to keep communication timely and move conversations forward.
- Update donor records, outreach trackers, campaign logs, follow-up sheets, and fundraising documentation.

Other requirements
- Open to students or freshers interested in fundraising, NGOs, social impact, outreach, partnerships, or CSR-related work.
- Strong written and spoken English communication is needed.
- Comfort with basic tools such as Google Sheets, Docs, Excel, and PowerPoint is expected.
- Should be comfortable with research, outreach, follow-ups, and maintaining trackers.
- Must be able to represent a mission-led organization in a professional and sensitive manner.
- Experience in fundraising, outreach, NGO initiatives, student leadership, volunteering, or partnerships is helpful but not required.
