Key responsibilities

• Develop secure, intelligent automations that streamline complex internal processes.
• Build AI-driven agents that help with decision support, routing, summarisation, and operational performance.
• Create automation assets, reusable components, and frameworks that can be adopted across multiple teams.
• Take ownership of automation solutions throughout the full lifecycle, including design, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing refinement.
• Apply production engineering discipline through CI/CD, testing, observability, and source control practices.
• Work closely with colleagues in operations, product, BI, and engineering to uncover and prioritise automation opportunities.
• Facilitate workshops and discovery discussions to identify repetitive or inefficient workflows and redesign them into better automated processes.

What success in this role looks like

Your work will reduce operational friction, free up team capacity, and help Pax8 scale more effectively across global markets. You will also help establish the reference point for how automation and AI should be implemented across the company.

Requirements

• Deep hands-on experience with automation platforms such as Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot Studio, n8n, or similar tools.
• Strong capability in building custom automation logic using Python and JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience designing and coordinating AI agents with modern LLM-based frameworks.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control, testing methods, and deploying solutions into production.
• Ability to connect APIs, webhooks, and workflow orchestration components effectively.
• Experience creating dependable, observable workflows with strong error handling and resilience.
• Comfort working through ambiguity and translating business needs into practical automation solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce and ServiceNow is considered a strong advantage.
