Role overview

This position is part of Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment operations and is focused on delivering a high-quality food and beverage service for VOX Cinemas guests. The aim is to create a welcoming atmosphere and support a memorable cinema experience through attentive hospitality.

Key duties

• Welcome guests in a warm, friendly manner and help set a positive tone for their visit.
• Share menus with guests and guide them in choosing items.
• Record food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
• Deliver orders quickly and professionally.
• Prepare, clear, and clean tables before and after service.
• Explain menu items, ingredients, and promotional offers to guests.
• Recommend and upsell food and beverage products to support revenue growth.
• Handle guest questions, comments, and complaints politely and efficiently.
• Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure orders are prepared correctly and on time.
• Keep the service area tidy, well-organized, and clean.
• Follow hygiene, health, and safety standards at all times.
• Help with stock movement, replenishment, and inventory tasks when needed.
• Provide support to colleagues during peak service times or special events.
• Comply with VOX Cinemas and MAF Entertainment service policies and standards.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in food and beverage or hospitality is required; experience in cinemas or restaurants is an advantage.
• Strong verbal communication and customer service abilities, along with a polite and professional approach.
• Comfortable handling pressure in a busy, guest-facing setting.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Must consistently maintain hygiene, grooming, and uniform standards.
