Role Summary
The Cork store is hiring an experienced retail leader to take on the Supervisor role. This position calls for someone who can lead from the front, support commercial performance, and help deliver an excellent in-store experience.
Key Duties
- Work to grow turnover and beat agreed sales targets by spotting ways to improve results.
- Lead, energise, and support the team so that sales goals are achieved and surpassed.
- Maintain a visible presence on the sales floor to increase revenue directly and through team performance.
- Make sure customers receive consistently strong service.
- Equip team members with the information and tools they need to deliver business priorities.
- Oversee the display and merchandising of seasonal stock according to head office instructions.
- Stay up to date with current and emerging market trends, upcoming promotions, and local competition.
- Monitor and drive key performance indicators.
- Handle any other tasks that fall within the role's scope of responsibility when needed.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant will bring retail experience, preferably from the premium segment, along with clear leadership ability and a strong track record in motivating people. The role also requires strong communication, planning, organisation, and analytical thinking, including the ability to understand financial and sales information. A solid grasp of brand positioning, product knowledge, and the local market is important.
