Role overview
Tesla is hiring a Program Manager to support the expanding Vehicle business within its Supply Chain organization. This position serves as a central point of coordination between Supply Chain and internal partners such as the Executive Team, Engineering, Sales, and Manufacturing.
You will work with the core program and project team to keep leadership informed about high-priority initiatives, key milestones, and overall progress. The role also involves partnering with Supply Chain Managers, Supplier Industrialization Engineers, Material Planners, and Logistics Managers across multiple commodities to help align execution across the organization. A major part of the job is bringing the right stakeholders together to track critical supply chain metrics and keep projects moving efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the Supply Chain representative in discussions with Tesla’s executive leadership, sharing program updates, potential risks, and practical mitigation plans.
- Prepare executive-ready presentations, visual reports, and concise summaries that support decision-making across the Supply Chain function.
- Build a complete supply chain strategy for the assigned program and help guide the organization’s strategic choices.
- Design and maintain dashboards that show program health and communicate important metrics to teams in Engineering, Finance, and Manufacturing.
- Set, track, and push execution of supply chain KPIs and project requirements, including design readiness, sourcing progress, supplier readiness, and milestone status.
- Monitor workstreams and project activity closely to identify delays early and surface risks before they affect delivery.
- Own timeline and resource management, while ensuring risk-reduction actions are in place to support successful program launches.
Requirements
- A degree in Supply Chain, Business, or an equivalent background; Engineering or another technical degree is considered an advantage.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in project management, consulting, or program management; experience in data analytics, automotive, or manufacturing is a plus.
- Hands-on experience building dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation abilities, with a track record of producing polished business presentations.
- Strong communication skills, including comfort interacting with senior executives and leadership teams.
- A collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Capability to perform effectively in a fast-moving startup-style technology environment and consistently deliver strong results.

This is a full-time role with competitive pay.
