Site Civil Engineer

Role Overview

Samsung C&T Corporation is seeking a Site Civil Engineer to oversee day-to-day civil construction work at a project site in Singapore. The role focuses on planning, coordinating, monitoring, and improving site execution so that work progresses safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage site construction operations and track overall work progress.
• Plan, execute, and monitor activities in line with the master schedule and detailed work programme.
• Coordinate temporary works matters with the Professional Engineer.
• Work with consultants, including QPS, on technical matters and align site activities with subcontractors.
• Address engineering and technical issues that arise during construction.
• Guide supervisors on construction execution and ensure project milestones are met.
• Maintain quality control, conduct site checks, and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Draft reports and method statements when needed.
• Control site labour, supervise workers closely, and help keep the site safe and orderly.
• Monitor ongoing site operations continuously to ensure smooth execution.

Requirements

• A degree in Civil Engineering or a qualification considered equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Willingness to work an alternate 6-day schedule, including alternate Saturdays.
• Ability to work from 7:30am to 6:00pm.

Working Arrangement

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Singapore.

Schedule

Work is on an alternate 6-day basis, with alternate Saturday work required. Standard working hours are 7:30am to 6:00pm.
