Service Technician

About the Role

Otis is hiring a Service Technician for its Dubai, UAE operations. This position focuses on keeping elevators and escalators running safely and efficiently through fault diagnosis, repairs, and planned preventive maintenance.

Location

Otis L.L.C, 37th floor, The One Tower, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify faults and isolate the root cause of problems in elevator and escalator systems.
• Carry out corrective repairs and routine upkeep on lift and escalator equipment.
• Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) to support reliable operation and passenger safety.
• Follow all applicable safety rules, internal procedures, and quality standards.
• Keep clear and accurate service logs for maintenance work and repairs completed.
• Work closely with other team members to deliver strong customer support.

Qualifications and Experience

• ITI, Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical, or B.Tech.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in the elevator and escalator industry.
• Good working knowledge of elevator and escalator systems and their components.
• Hands-on ability in troubleshooting and repair methods.
• Strong understanding of safety requirements and industry best practices.
• Good problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
