Senior Territory Service Representative

Role Overview

This position is responsible for managing pickup and delivery activity within the assigned territory while ensuring service quality, shipment safety, and smooth coordination at the location. The role also involves guiding the local team, maintaining customer relationships, and supporting business growth from existing accounts.

Key Duties

• Coordinate on-time pickups and deliveries according to the assigned route plan.
• Supervise, support, and track the performance of the local team.
• Make sure company procedures and safety standards are consistently followed.
• Prepare delivery, pickup, and related operational reports and documents.
• Protect shipments and maintain security at the site.
• Strengthen customer relationships, identify leads, and contribute to growth from current customers in the territory.

Delivery Operations

• Unload bags from the vehicle.
• Scan shipments at the relevant stage of processing.
• Carry out primary and secondary sorting.
• Out-scan shipments according to the delivery route.
• Deliver packages only to the address mentioned on the shipment.
• Collect customer acknowledgement through the device provided (BYOD).
• Enter the correct status code for shipments that could not be delivered.
• Follow the delivery process as explained during training.
• Submit COD collections to the supervisor on the same day.
• Return undelivered shipments to the supervisor.
• Maintain the required dress code and carry the field bag to all delivery points.

Pickup Operations

• Carry out pickups in line with SOP requirements.
• Complete customer pickups within the cut-off time.
• Confirm whether the pickup location is serviceable.
• Count the shipments at the customer site and obtain acknowledgement on the pickup sheet.
• In-scan shipments at the office and manage rapid entry.
• Perform primary and secondary sorting of picked-up shipments.
• Complete the bagging process.
• Load canvas bags into the vehicle.
• Reach the next location in time for the scheduled connection.

Additional Information

The delivery workflow will be covered during training. The role also requires same-day handling of cash-on-delivery amounts, prompt return of undelivered consignments, and adherence to dress and equipment requirements while on route.
