The Role

This position is focused on building meaningful connections with a worldwide developer community through content that educates, inspires, and stands out visually. A deep senior engineering background is not required, but the role does call for strong technical grounding, a learning mindset, and the ability to explain complex technology in an engaging way.

The work is hands-on and end-to-end. You will develop ideas, shape them into content, and publish them yourself without depending on others to move each step forward. The role blends writing, visuals, and video production, moving quickly from concepts to finished assets.

What You Will Do

• Design and publish technical content for social platforms, blogs, and YouTube around Search, AI, and Elasticsearch, making the topics accessible and compelling.
• Turn complex ideas into concise, engaging short-form posts such as social threads and professional network updates.
• Create simple but polished videos and infographics, handling scripting, recording, editing, and publishing on your own.
• Track new developments in Search, AI, and developer tooling and convert those trends into content that resonates with the target audience.
• Build demos and examples that strengthen your content and help explain key ideas, including summaries of notable research papers.
• Bring creativity to Elastic’s content strategy to help keep the community active and attract new audiences.

What You Bring

• A solid technical base, ideally supported by experience in an engineering position.
• Proven ability to work across multiple formats, including blogs, social posts, infographics, and video.
• Comfort with independent execution from concept through publication.
• Adaptability and curiosity to learn new tools, technologies, and subject areas quickly.
• A cooperative approach and willingness to contribute ideas within a fully distributed team.
• Strong spoken and written English communication skills.

Compensation

This role is paid through base salary only and does not include variable compensation. The typical starting salary range is €54,100 to €85,600 EUR. Final pay will depend on objective factors such as relevant experience, skills, expertise, and the scope and complexity of the role.
