Veem is hiring a Sales Development Representative to support pipeline growth by finding, engaging, and qualifying potential customers. Responsibilities
- Find and reach out to potential B2B customers using outbound channels such as email, phone, professional networking platforms, and other outreach methods
- Assess inbound and outbound leads and arrange meetings for Account Executives
- Keep HubSpot updated with accurate activity logs and pipeline information
- Investigate target organizations and the key stakeholders within fintech, payments, and adjacent sectors
- Create and manage outbound sequences and follow-up workflows
- Work with sales and marketing teams to strengthen outreach performance
- Meet activity goals and pipeline generation expectations on a consistent basis
- Stay current on industry developments, fintech terminology, and payment-related solutions
- Offer ideas to enhance prospecting approaches and improve sales processes
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, or inside sales
- Prior experience in a B2B environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
- Good organization, time management, and follow-through
- Working knowledge of HubSpot CRM
- Comfort with outbound prospecting and cold outreach
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a high-growth setting
Preferred background
- Experience in fintech, payments, banking technology, or financial services is an advantage
- Familiarity with payment methods and fintech-related terminology is helpful
- Exposure to AI tools, AI-assisted sales workflows, or automation tools is a plus
- Background in startups or scaling companies with 50 or more employees is preferred
- Experience selling SaaS or other technology solutions is beneficial
