Route Service Representative

Role overview

Cintas Canada is looking for a Route Service Representative to handle and expand customer relationships within the Rental Division. In this role, you will travel an assigned route, work with an existing customer base, and provide service and sales support. The job is hands-on and fast-moving, with both indoor and outdoor duties that include delivering and collecting uniforms, shop towels, chemical cleaning items, and other facility service products.

Key duties

• Represent the company in front of customers and build trusted relationships with important contacts
• Maintain service quality and address customer issues before they escalate
• Increase sales within current accounts through upselling and cross-selling
• Renew service agreements, manage inventory, and carry out work in a safe and professional manner
• Follow all driving and vehicle compliance requirements

Requirements and qualifications

Candidates must meet the provincial requirements for operating a regulated vehicle over 10,000 lbs. Before the first day of work, applicants must hold a valid, full, unrestricted driver's license. The role also calls for the physical ability to handle the demands of the position, a high school diploma, GED, or military service, a strong service mindset, and the self-drive to succeed in a team-oriented environment. A positive attitude, ambition, organization, and a genuine service spirit are also important.

Compensation

Total annual compensation is estimated at $45,000 to $90,000 and is made up of base pay plus earned commissions. Actual pay depends on factors such as skill set, experience, training, performance, and business needs. The range may vary based on geographic location, and placement at the top of the range is not typical.
