Work schedule and location
This is a full-time position based at 1491 Quality Way, Tallahassee, FL 32303. The schedule runs Monday through Friday with an early morning start and may include some weekend work. Additional schedule details will be shared during the interview. Online applications are the only accepted method.
What the job involves
- Keep vending machines stocked with the correct product mix and inventory levels.
- Rotate products regularly so that items remain fresh at customer sites.
- Deliver a strong customer experience and represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
- Communicate with regular customers about new products or services and handle service concerns when they arise.
- Set up promotional materials and merchandise displays when needed.
- Track and manage all product, invoices, delivery records, and cash collected.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned.
Requirements and qualifications
Candidates should have at least 3 years of driving experience and hold a valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license, unless state rules require something different. Prior route driving is preferred. Experience in customer service is also preferred, ideally 1 to 2 years, or at least 1 year in a related role. You should be comfortable using a handheld device, with training provided if needed. The role also requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly, stand for long periods, and operate or learn to use material-handling equipment such as a box truck or handcart. Because the route is largely independent, you must be able to work unsupervised for most of the day.
Compensation and perks
This is a commission-based role, and all driving positions may include commission eligibility. The employer also offers training, internal employee referral bonus opportunities, and access to a broad benefits package. Benefits may include retirement planning, associate shopping programs, health and wellness programs, discount marketplaces, identity theft protection, pet insurance, voluntary insurance options, legal services, auto/home programs, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, commuter benefits, employee assistance, and flexible spending accounts, along with eligible paid or unpaid time off.
Additional information
The company emphasizes a fast-paced, independent work style with strong customer service and relationship-building. Certain roles may require Florida Level 2 background screening. The workplace is drug-free. Employment is offered on an ongoing basis. The recruiting process may use a conversational text assistant, and standard messaging/data charges may apply for that communication. Terms and conditions apply to that recruiting service.
