What the role involves

• Drive and operate road sweeping equipment on construction sites to keep work areas clean and safe.
• Clear mud, dust, and other debris from site roads, access points, and nearby areas.
• Keep entrances to the site and areas visible to the public tidy and well presented.
• Complete daily checks on the vehicle and report any faults or maintenance needs.
• Assist site teams with general tidiness and housekeeping tasks.
• Work in line with all site health, safety, and environmental rules.
• Coordinate with site management and respond to operational needs as required.

Experience and requirements

The successful candidate should have prior experience driving a road sweeper or similar plant equipment. Experience in construction or a comparable setting would be an advantage. A solid understanding of site health and safety expectations is important, along with the ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and minor checks.
