Required Structural Draftsman

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Structural Draftsman to join a professional team working on construction and infrastructure assignments. In this role, you will convert engineering concepts into accurate, practical drawings that help drive execution from early design through project completion. The position calls for strong technical drafting ability, BIM awareness, careful coordination, and a quality-focused approach.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop precise structural drawings, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.
• Produce reinforcement details, foundation plans, beam and slab layouts, column schedules, and structural steel drawings.
• Work closely with structural engineers, architects, consultants, and site teams to keep drawings aligned with design intent and project requirements.
• Revise drawings based on design updates, technical comments, and actual site conditions.
• Contribute to BIM coordination and ensure drafting outputs follow project standards and specifications.
• Keep drawing files well organized and maintain complete revision records throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support the project team with technical documentation during design, construction, and handover stages.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Drafting, Architecture, or a closely related discipline.
• Prior experience working as a Structural Draftsman on construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects.
• Good knowledge of structural drafting concepts and construction methods.
• Hands-on proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit Structure, and other drafting or BIM tools.
• Experience preparing RCC detailing, reinforcement drawings, structural steel drawings, and shop drawings.
• Strong eye for detail and the ability to handle several projects at the same time.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Preferred background includes work on commercial buildings, residential projects, industrial facilities, infrastructure works, or high-rise developments.
• Familiarity with BIM processes, Navisworks, Tekla Structures, and international engineering standards is an advantage.

This is a full-time, onsite position based in the Doha Metropolitan Area. The role does not mention salary, vacancy count, start date, or application deadline.
