Registered Dietician

About the Role

ALIYA Healthcare is looking for a caring and committed Registered Dietician to join its healthcare team in Chicago. In this role, you will support patient wellness by creating tailored nutrition strategies that help individuals work toward better health outcomes. You will be part of a collaborative nutrition and care team focused on delivering comprehensive support to patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ nutritional needs and design personalized meal and nutrition plans aligned with their health goals.
• Hold individual counseling sessions and provide education to patients and their families.
• Work closely with doctors and other care professionals to build and carry out integrated treatment plans.
• Keep current with nutrition research, developments, and best practices to guide patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation, records, and databases.
• Contribute to quality improvement efforts aimed at strengthening patient outcomes and overall satisfaction.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a closely related discipline is required.
• Current Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) certification, or eligibility to obtain it, is needed.
• At least 2 years of experience in dietetics or a similar role is expected.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are essential.
• The ability to stay effective in a busy environment and adjust to shifting priorities is important.
• Working knowledge of nutrition standards, guidelines, and accepted practices is required.
