Quantity Surveyor

Role Overview

Geodata World Services Limited is seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to support projects in Abuja. The role suits someone who is highly detail-focused, has strong experience across real estate and infrastructure, and is motivated by delivering strong value throughout project delivery.

Core Duties

• Take charge of all project-related costs for building and civil engineering works, managing them from project start through final handover.
• Balance cost efficiency with high standards of quality and compliance, ensuring the best possible value for each project.
• Work in close coordination with project managers, contractors, and clients to keep project delivery smooth, aligned, and cost-effective.
• Provide guidance on construction agreements, purchasing and sourcing activities, and ongoing strategies for controlling costs.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma in Quantity Surveying, or a closely related field.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in a Quantity Surveyor role.
• Registration with the Quantity Surveyors Registration Board of Nigeria (QSRBN) is mandatory.
• Solid understanding of construction contracts, cost control, and procurement practices.
• Ability to use quantity surveying tools and Microsoft Office applications effectively.
• Strong skills in analysis, negotiation, and professional communication.
