Quantitative Trader - AI Trainer

About the role

We are seeking experienced quantitative professionals to help train AI systems. In this position, you will work alongside advanced AI models by reviewing AI-produced quantitative analysis, tackling technical problem-solving tasks, and sharing feedback that helps improve how these systems reason about data, models, and scientific questions.

This opportunity is a strong fit for professionals from quantitative backgrounds such as data science, astrophysics, economics, biostatistics, operations research, or other similar fields. If your work involves rigorous thinking about data and models, your expertise can be applied here. Some people do this work in parallel with a full-time job, while others make it their main focus.

How the process works

After creating an account, you will complete a brief assessment that acts as the screening step. If you are successful, you will receive confirmation by email and paid tasks will be unlocked on the platform.

Contracting advantages

• Compensation is hourly, beginning at USD 50 to USD 100+ per hour, with some projects offering extra bonus rates.

Responsibilities

• Check AI-generated quantitative outputs for correctness and practical applicability, including statistical analysis, predictive models, scientific reasoning, and data-backed conclusions.
• Create and solve quantitative questions used to train and evaluate AI systems across forecasting, experimental analysis, optimization, and statistical inference.
• Prepare clear technical write-ups and maintain well-organized analytical code.
• Offer feedback that helps improve future AI models focused on quantitative reasoning.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a quantitative role or research setting, such as data science, statistics, economics, finance, physics, biology, epidemiology, operations research, or a related area.
• Basic coding ability, including confidence in writing and reviewing analytical code from start to finish.
• Hands-on familiarity with statistical techniques, predictive modeling, and experimental design such as A/B testing, hypothesis testing, regression, classification, and time-series forecasting.
• Strong English communication skills at native or bilingual level, especially in writing.
• A bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a similar area is preferred; a master's degree or PhD is an added advantage.
• Additional credentials such as Kaggle rankings, AWS/GCP machine learning certifications, or similar proof of expertise are beneficial.

Additional information

This is an independent contractor role. Payments are issued through PayPal, and PayPal will manage any USD currency conversion. You will never be asked to pay any money as part of the process. Only candidates located in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand will be considered.
