Project Procurement Professional

Role Overview

Siemens Energy is looking for a seasoned Project Procurement Professional to strengthen procurement performance within its Gas Services unit in Dammam. The role focuses on supporting maintenance solutions for Gas Turbine and Steam Turbine Generator fleets while helping deliver reliable, sustainable, and cost-effective energy services.

What You Will Do

• Take end-to-end responsibility for procurement work on complex Gas Services maintenance projects.
• Build and execute sourcing approaches that match project goals for speed, cost control, and quality adherence.
• Handle detailed RFQs, assess bids thoroughly, and negotiate major commercial terms.
• Create and manage supplier strategies, including supplier qualification, capability development, and long-term relationship handling.
• Lead initiatives to reduce costs, improve value, and lower total cost of ownership.
• Monitor supplier performance closely and drive corrective measures when needed.
• Negotiate and close complex contracts, framework arrangements, and service terms and conditions.
• Anticipate procurement and supply chain risks and put mitigation actions in place.
• Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Legal, and international procurement teams.

What You Need to Bring

• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a closely related discipline; a master’s degree is considered an advantage.
• Substantial background in project procurement, ideally in energy, power generation, or industrial services.
• Strong familiarity with procurement for Gas Turbine and Steam Turbine maintenance services is highly preferred.
• A proven record of managing complex sourcing efforts and negotiating high-value deals.
• Solid commercial judgment, with a strong grasp of contracts, risk management, and supplier markets.
• The ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate effectively across global, cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on experience with ERP platforms such as SAP and digital procurement tools.
