Key responsibilities

• Independently performing surface and cylindrical grinding on precision parts for tool and mold construction
• Processing single pieces and small batches based on technical drawings and specifications
• Setting up, preparing, and operating conventional grinding machines
• Selecting suitable grinding wheels and defining the best machining parameters
• Measuring and checking finished components using standard measuring tools
• Maintaining tight dimensional tolerances and high-quality surface finishes
• Carrying out quality inspections in line with drawing and quality requirements
• Cleaning, servicing, and maintaining machines and tools used in production

What we're looking for

• Completed training as a toolmaker, machining mechanic, or a similar technical qualification
• Solid experience in precision grinding, especially surface and cylindrical grinding
• Good technical understanding and confident reading of technical drawings
• Hands-on experience with measuring equipment such as micrometers, dial indicators, or height gauges
• Strong quality awareness and a careful, exact way of working
• Ability to work independently, reliably, and with a strong sense of responsibility
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Structured and focused approach to complex tasks
• Flexibility and willingness to work in shifts

The role is available on a full-time basis and is based onsite in Hoisdorf. The position is intended for immediate start. The working week is 37.5 hours. No internship duration is mentioned.
