Role overview
As Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for accurate, timely payroll processing for around 500 employees across both commercial and industrial roles. The position involves maintaining payroll-related master and movement data, managing absences and certificates, checking results for accuracy, and supporting payment release and reporting tasks.
Key duties
- Prepare and run monthly payroll independently, ensuring deadlines are met and calculations are correct for approximately 500 employees.
- Maintain employee master data and transactional data, while actively handling absences and supporting certificate administration.
- Validate payroll outcomes through reasonableness checks, individual case reviews, and monthly account reconciliations.
- Handle approval steps for payroll payments and produce internal reports.
- Respond to data requests from public authorities.
- Provide technical support and data preparation for annual financial closing activities.

Requirements

- Strong understanding of current labor, social security, and tax regulations, plus experience with certificate administration.
- Confident use of payroll systems such as ADDISON SBS Lohn, DATEV, SAP, or similar tools, together with solid MS Office skills.
- Structured, numerically minded, and accurate working style, with a high level of reliability and discretion when handling sensitive HR data.
