Role Overview
We are seeking a Payroll Advisor to support accurate and timely payroll processing for employees in the UK. This role is based in Birmingham and is focused on delivering dependable payroll operations, handling queries, and maintaining compliance with relevant payroll rules.
Key Duties
- Run weekly and monthly payroll cycles for UK employees with accuracy and within deadlines.
- Respond to payroll questions and resolve any mismatches or issues promptly.
- Work in line with current payroll tax obligations and applicable regulations, including HMRC requirements and Ireland-related rules where relevant.
- Coordinate with the UK Time and Attendance team to make sure input data is submitted on time and accurately.
- Partner with local HR teams to support smooth payroll operations.
- Assist the wider team by completing related tasks and helping deliver overall team objectives.
- Compile and submit reports as needed.
Required Experience and Skills
- Hands-on experience with payroll systems, especially SuccessFactors.
- Solid knowledge of UK payroll taxation and HMRC procedures.
- High level of accuracy and care in day-to-day work.
- Strong communication and customer support abilities.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to support the team.
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-moving environment.
