Role overview
This position focuses on strengthening the technical capability of regional partners so they can position, sell, and deliver Splunk and Cisco solutions successfully. The role is centered on building partner solutions, practices, and competencies around priority use cases, helping partners create differentiated and repeatable offerings for their customers.
The role works closely with Partner Sales Managers and Partner Development Managers, with shared responsibility for partner growth and performance. A core deliverable is the creation and ongoing quarterly refresh of Partner Intelligence documents, which combine technical scorecards and partner plans into a single source of truth for each partner.
These scorecards and plans should reflect partner capability maturity, solution and proposition development, practice growth, program progression, opportunity alignment, stakeholder mapping, and certification progress. They must also include a clear development plan tied to the regional go-to-market strategy and jointly owned with the relevant partner leaders.
Key responsibilities
The role covers solution development, enablement, community building, opportunity acceleration, and internal alignment. The overall goal is to create partner-led technical capacity that leads to measurable outcomes such as revenue growth, expanded services, and stronger customer retention.

- Help partners build repeatable solutions that match Splunk and Cisco reference architectures.
- Review architectures and validate partner-designed solutions.
- Offer technical support during late-stage sales pursuits when needed.
- Plan annual and quarterly badge and certification targets as part of each partner plan.
- Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly business updates.
Partner community building
- Build and nurture a strong regional community of partner technical practitioners.
- Run recurring enablement sessions, workshops, roundtables, and community forums.
- Encourage knowledge sharing, peer discussion, and showcase sessions across partners.
- Identify and develop partner champions who can help drive community-led growth.
- Maintain structured communication that stays aligned to partner needs and Splunk go-to-market priorities.
- Use the community to improve capability and increase adoption of repeatable solutions.
Opportunity support and acceleration
- Work with the regional partner leadership team to identify, shape, and progress partner-influenced opportunities across security, observability, and platform use cases.
- Lead structured technical discovery to improve qualification and shorten time to value.
- Partner with the enablement, programs, and incentives team on planning, target usage, execution, and return on investment of program recommendations.
- Coach partner pre-sales teams on building strong architectures, proposals, and proof-of-value activities.
- Track deal movement and remove technical barriers in high-priority opportunities.
- Align with partner account managers on quarterly pipeline goals, execution plans, and opportunity qualification where solution fit and business value are clear.
- Apply Splunk frameworks, architectures, and best practices consistently in partner-led deals.
- Help grow partner-led and partner-influenced pipeline through stronger solution maturity and alignment.
Internal alignment and joint planning
