About the Role

The role is based onsite in Carrigaline, County Cork, Ireland and reports to the Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor.
Job Summary
The Stores Operator is responsible for coordinating and carrying out stores activities, along with related administrative work. The role involves close collaboration with Purchasing, Customer Service, and Planning to complete weekly area tasks, while also supporting colleagues and helping keep the department running smoothly on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment manually so components can be assembled into PTH level kits.
- Pack cards and units for weekly shipment to customers or subcontractors.
- Manage stock held in the off-site warehouse, maintain stores inventory levels, and transfer stock off-site in line with space and safety requirements, while keeping off-site reports current.
- Follow planning priorities and work to set schedules for kitting and preparation activities.
- Adhere to all procedures and process documents, ensuring they remain accurate and current.
- Carry out materials control duties, including inventory control, transaction accuracy, and cycle counts.
- Apply safety, anti-static, and housekeeping standards consistently.
- Contribute to quality and production targets and support quality improvement work.
- Complete any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
- Prepare and complete all required stores-related paperwork and records.
- Support lean initiatives when needed and incorporate lean thinking into daily work.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in stores-related functions is required.
- Ability to follow schedules, procedures, and documentation accurately.
- Comfort with stock handling, inventory control, and cycle counting.
- Attention to detail and a strong focus on safety and housekeeping standards.
- Willingness to support team members and take on varied operational tasks.
