Role overview

The Operation Reporting Analyst supports retail programs by tracking performance, delivering reports, and turning data into actionable insights. The role focuses on building and maintaining reporting processes for retail operations while collaborating across teams to help support sales, shrink, and profit targets.

Key responsibilities

• Provide reporting and system support for retail operations, while maintaining accurate data for operations accounts.
• Prepare, analyze, and distribute reports for the assigned programs and business areas.
• Act as the main point of contact for retail stores, internal teams, and external partners connected to the assigned programs.
• Investigate performance trends, assess the impact of new or improved processes, and recommend changes when negative patterns are identified.
• Carry out additional job-related duties as needed.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or a related discipline is required, or an equivalent mix of education and work experience may be accepted. The role is suited to candidates with 0–3 years of relevant experience and does not require supervisory experience. English is required; English and Spanish are preferred.

Skills and expertise

The position calls for strong computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office, Oracle reporting tools, and Hyperion. It also requires clear communication, solid interpersonal ability, strong analysis, organization, judgment, and project coordination skills. A high level of attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks are essential. Experience in retail operations, operations services, training, analytics, or information technology is preferred.

Work environment

This is an onsite role based in Metro Jacksonville. Most work is performed indoors in a standard office setting. The job may occasionally require standing or walking on carpet, tile, or concrete. The role involves regular sitting and repetitive hand movements, along with frequent use of hands, fingers, speech, sight, and hearing. Safety risks are low, though occasional twisting of the back or neck and walking on slippery or cluttered surfaces may be required.

Equipment and physical requirements

Daily work may involve using a personal computer, telephone, printer, copier, fax machine, and other common office equipment. The position includes pulling and lifting requirements of up to 20 lbs.

Travel and location

The role requires 10% travel. Overnight travel is not expected, and the position is not Motus eligible.
