Role Summary
This full-time hybrid position is for a Mechanical Engineer in Berlin, Germany, with the option to work remotely for part of the week. The role centers on the design and development of mechanical parts and systems, the use of CAD tools, research and development work, and project coordination to keep deliverables on schedule and aligned with quality expectations. You will also work closely with teams across functions to ensure project needs are met effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop mechanical components and systems that meet technical and quality requirements.
Prepare and work with CAD-based designs, models, and technical documentation.
Contribute to research and development efforts aimed at creating improved or innovative solutions.
Coordinate project activities, track timelines, and help ensure deliverables are completed efficiently.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support successful execution of project goals.
Required Qualifications
A solid background in mechanical engineering, especially in machine design.
Hands-on experience using CAD software and related design tools.
Capability to manage projects, including schedules and delivery milestones.
Exposure to R&D work and the development of new engineering solutions.
Strong analytical thinking and practical problem-solving ability.
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related discipline.
Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
Prior experience in manufacturing or the automotive sector will be considered an advantage.
