Role overview

The Learning, Teaching and Middleware team supports the university community by delivering timely, clear and effective guidance, along with dependable system functionality, across the curriculum management system (CMS) and learning management system (LMS). The team also looks after ongoing maintenance, continuous enhancement and advanced system support for a broad group of stakeholders inside and outside the university.

What the position involves

  • Help users of the university’s curriculum management system by offering accurate guidance and practical support on a range of topics.
  • Assist with maintaining and improving the CMS and parts of the LMS supported by the Learning, Teaching and Middleware team.
  • Collect business requirements and support the creation of testing approaches and related documentation.
  • Review business processes, university policies and procedures, and legislative requirements to produce documentation for business users and the team.

Over the first 6 to 12 months, the successful person will build trust as a reliable advisor, contribute meaningfully to system improvements, and help ensure the CMS and LMS remain effective and dependable.

Requirements

  • Experience writing clear, complete and unambiguous system documentation.
  • Ability to interpret and apply university policies, procedures and legislative instruments.

Employment details

Compensation
