Position Overview

Woodlawn Consulting Group is seeking an accomplished recruiter with a background in staffing and a proven record of handling searches across several functions at once. The right person will be comfortable juggling multiple requisitions, moving quickly without sacrificing quality, and working in an evolving startup environment where systems and workflows are still being shaped. This is a hands-on role for someone who is resourceful, proactive, and motivated by the chance to help build a recruiting operation from the ground up. Location and Employment

This role is based in San Antonio, Texas, with preference for local candidates; however, applicants located anywhere in Texas may also be considered. The position is full-time and onsite.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end recruitment for a wide mix of roles across different industries and job families.
  • Find, evaluate, interview, and submit strong candidates to clients.
  • Develop and maintain talent pools across multiple sectors and disciplines.
  • Handle several active requisitions at the same time while keeping turnaround times fast and quality high.
  • Work closely with leadership to set search priorities and shape recruiting plans.
  • Create, refine, and standardize recruiting processes, workflows, and best practices.
  • Monitor recruiting performance measures and keep candidate records current in internal systems.
  • Help assess and choose recruiting tools, sourcing platforms, and technologies that can support scale.
  • Foster productive relationships with candidates, clients, and professionals in the market.
  • Support the growth of Woodlawn’s recruiting team and future recruiting operations.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in a staffing agency or recruiting firm is preferred.
  • History of successfully hiring for multiple disciplines and industries.
  • Experience handling several open roles at the same time.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-moving recruiting environment.
  • Strong sourcing capability using LinkedIn, job boards, networking, referrals, and other creative methods.
  • Background in building or improving recruiting workflows and processes.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Self-directed approach with the ability to work independently and with limited supervision.
  • Comfort with a startup-style environment and a willingness to continuously improve how things are done.
