Laundry Attendant

About the Role

One&Only The Palm in Dubai is looking for a Laundry Attendant to join the Housekeeping team at this luxury beachfront resort. The position is part of a fast-growing global hospitality brand known for delivering highly personalized guest experiences with care, precision, warmth, and creativity.

In this role, you will help keep the resort’s linen, uniforms, and guest clothing cleaned, processed, and presented to a very high standard. You will contribute to a well-run laundry operation by supporting daily tasks, maintaining quality, and helping uphold the resort’s service values.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all laundry items, including bed linen, staff uniforms, and guest garments, with attention and efficiency.
• Separate, wash, dry, press, and fold items according to fabric type and company procedures.
• Make sure all pieces are cleaned properly, look presentable, and are returned on time.
• Use laundry equipment safely and keep it operating efficiently.
• Check finished items for quality and report any damage, defects, or unusual issues.
• Keep the laundry workspace tidy, orderly, and well maintained.
• Track supplies and replenish laundry materials when needed.
• Follow hygiene, sanitation, and safety rules at all times.
• Inform the supervisor about equipment faults or maintenance concerns.
• Store and manage linens, uniforms, and guest items correctly.
• Respect guest privacy and handle personal belongings with care and confidentiality.
• Follow grooming standards and wear the required uniform correctly.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant should have 1 to 2 years of experience in a luxury 5-star hotel or resort. A good understanding of laundry processes, fabric care, and hygiene practices is required. The role suits someone who pays close attention to detail, works well as part of a team, and consistently maintains high presentation standards for garments and linen.

Strong English communication skills are needed, and additional language abilities will be considered an advantage.
