Lab Technician, Beverage Applications

Role overview

This position sits within a beverage applications laboratory, where you will support flavor creation and the development of finished beverage applications. The role also includes coordinating customer projects and making sure deliverables are completed on schedule, safely, and in line with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Support beverage application work in the lab, including the creation of flavor concepts and finished product applications.
• Prepare and adjust beverage taste samples, including adapting ADM products to meet specific customer needs, and release them for customer sampling.
• Manage customer projects with attention to timelines, safety standards, and overall organizational priorities.
• Work confidently with fine chemicals while maintaining careful, accurate, and disciplined laboratory practices.
• Coordinate and communicate with teams across the EMEA region, including the development headquarters in Germany, other application labs, and commercial colleagues.

Requirements and qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology, Chemistry, or Pharmacy.
• Prior exposure to beverage product development or application work is preferred.
• Working understanding of product processing and how ingredients interact in beverages.
• Strong project management capability.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Comfortable using computers and business systems, including SAP and Salesforce.
• Interest in creating new beverage concepts and following market trends.
• Willingness to work across teams and contribute in a fast-moving, international environment.
• Readiness to take on new opportunities and go beyond standard expectations when needed.
