Role Summary

This position is for a Kafka Administrator who can manage end-to-end Kafka administration along with Unix-related operational tasks. The role involves keeping Kafka infrastructure stable, secure, efficient, and well-supported while coordinating with other teams as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and oversee Kafka-driven data pipelines.
• Work with complementary big data tools such as Hadoop, Spark, and Storm.
• Track Kafka cluster health and tune performance where needed.
• Investigate and resolve Kafka-related technical problems.
• Respond to customer questions and provide ongoing support.
• Deliver administrative support for Kafka infrastructure.
• Ensure high availability, strong performance, and security for Kafka environments.
• Create and improve automation for Kafka platform operations.
• Set up and manage Kafka topics, producers, consumers, and Python-based producer/consumer components for data exchange with other systems.

Eligibility

Applicants should hold a graduate degree. Candidates with a B.Tech or B.E. in any specialization are also eligible to apply.
