Junior Analyst

Role overview

This part-time remote Junior Analyst position supports planning and operational work for World Cup 2034. The role is focused on using data to help guide decisions across logistics, fan engagement, and performance tracking.

What you will do

You will gather, structure, and check data related to event operations and audience engagement. You will also help prepare simple reports, dashboards, and presentation materials for internal teams, and contribute research on approaches used in earlier major international tournaments.

In addition, you will work with people across different functions, answer data-related queries, and keep documentation and process records up to date. The role provides practical exposure to large-scale event planning and international sports operations.

Qualifications and expectations

The position calls for strong analytical ability, confidence with spreadsheets and basic data tools, and clear communication skills for sharing findings with non-technical audiences. Good organization, time management, and the ability to manage priorities in a remote part-time setup are important.

Interest in large-scale events, sports management, or international projects is preferred. Familiarity with football is helpful but not mandatory. You should be comfortable working with digital collaboration tools such as email, video calls, and shared documents, and be able to cooperate effectively in diverse teams.

Applicants should be currently pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Sports Management, or a similar field, or bring equivalent practical experience.
