Role Summary
This position provides first-line IT assistance for hardware and software issues in a Windows-based environment. The role includes both on-site installation and support, as well as remote assistance when working from the office. You will support desktop and network operations for around 450 users across 23 UK locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver desktop support through phone, email, and in-person contact.
- Install and configure business software such as Wareflow, SAP, Microsoft Office, and design applications.
- Set up new employees, user accounts, and replacement PCs.
- Support Windows Server administration tasks including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
- Handle backup administration activities.
- Manage SAP-related support such as unlocking accounts, requesting new accounts, and recording tickets with head office helpdesk teams.
- Repair or replace PCs, peripherals, mobile phones, tablets, printers, and other equipment.
- Work with external suppliers for CCTV, email systems, design software, and third-party IT services.
- Coordinate with internal teams for CRM, SAP, Wareflow, and design software support.
- Assist with telephony administration.
- Prepare and configure company mobiles, handheld devices, and tablets.
- Support network infrastructure administration, including firewalls and internet connections.
- Act as the first contact for antivirus, iPads, and video conferencing systems.
Working Pattern
This is a part-time role based on 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Typical shifts are either 8:00am to 2:00pm or 9:00am to 3:00pm, with a 1-hour break.
