The HR Coordinator supports the day-to-day delivery of human resources programs, processes, policies, and administrative activities. This position plays a broad role across recruitment, employee records, labor and employee relations, job evaluation, compensation support, organizational development, and training administration. A key responsibility of the role is overseeing and coordinating the H2A program for King Ranch.

What you will do

  • Oversee the H2A program, including related contracts, workers, and visa documentation, and travel when necessary to train and brief H2A employees before they enter the United States.
  • Work with the H2A organization and management teams to coordinate worker arrivals and departures.
  • Support divisions with hiring activity and onboarding for new employees.
  • Make sure all onboarding forms and employment paperwork are completed for H2A workers and assist locations with the onboarding process.
  • Confirm that employment practices, forms, postings, and related activities meet applicable state and federal labor requirements.
  • Track and update Social Security numbers when needed for H2A employees, as well as approved driver’s licenses.
  • Stay current on HR policies, programs, legal requirements, and related issues, and help integrate those programs into daily operations.
  • Prepare H2A contracts for distribution to employees.
  • Serve as the main coordinator for standard operating procedures connected to the H2A program.
  • Coordinate communication materials for the HR department.
  • Help organize annual training and employee survey activities.
  • Answer routine questions about HR forms, records, policies, systems, and procedures.
  • Provide managers with requested reports and send reminders about overdue certifications such as first aid and driver’s licenses.
