Friendsview in Newberg, Oregon is hiring a full-time Housekeeper II for the night shift, scheduled from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm. This role is focused on keeping the community clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and visitors. The pay range is $15.96 to $18.20 per hour, depending on experience.

Key duties

• Clean resident rooms as well as common and shared areas.
• Handle laundry tasks for residents and multiple departments.
• Disinfect surfaces, remove waste, and manage recycling.
• Maintain an orderly and well-supplied cleaning cart.
• Operate cleaning equipment and tools in a safe manner.
• Work from daily task lists and assigned work plans.

Working with people

• Interact politely and respectfully with residents, staff members, and guests.
• Coordinate with other departments to help meet resident needs.
• Support teammates when needed and request assistance when necessary.
• Escalate problems or concerns to a supervisor.

Safety and training

• Follow safety rules and infection-control practices.
• Use personal protective equipment as required.
• Use cleaning supplies and laundry machines properly.
• Respond appropriately to spills, accidents, or urgent situations.

Growth and development

• On-the-job training is provided, so prior experience is not required.
