Role overview

The company is seeking a Graphic Designer to join its team in Heubach, Germany. The role is suited to a creative professional with a higher education background who can help shape the company’s visual communication for an international audience.

What you will do

• Create visual assets that strengthen the company’s brand across multiple channels.
• Prepare technical documents such as user manuals and data sheets in coordination with engineers and architects.
• Develop patterns for engineered wood products that will be used in client buildings.
• Design polished presentations and pitch decks for both internal and external audiences.
• Support visual storytelling through photography, infographics, and branded presentation materials.
• Capture photos and videos of events, products, production steps, and other company activities.
• Work on event materials, invitations, gifts, packaging, and other design tasks as business needs change.

Profile and qualifications

Applicants should be fluent in English, both written and spoken, as this is mandatory. German and other languages are considered an advantage. A higher education qualification in Graphic Design, Arts, or a related discipline is required. Professional experience is not necessary, but a portfolio is compulsory.

Technical skills needed

The role requires advanced working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop, since these tools will be used every day. Experience with Adobe Premiere or similar video-editing tools, as well as Adobe After Effects, is highly desirable. Candidates should also have photography and video documentation skills, especially for product and process coverage. Familiarity with final artwork preparation, printing processes, and working in a Mac environment is also important.
