Role Overview
This opportunity is for a Graphic Designer to join a team in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on a 12+ month contract, with a strong likelihood of transitioning into a full-time role. The position follows a hybrid setup, with 1–2 days required onsite each week at 81st Bay Street, 18th Floor.
Compensation & Interview Process
The pay rate for this contract is $52/hour INC or $45/hour T4. The interview process includes both a virtual conversation and an in-person round.
Core Experience Needed
The ideal candidate will bring 5–7 years of design experience, along with a solid track record in digital design, especially across email, CRM, lifecycle marketing, and 1:1 communication formats. A strong portfolio showing polished, high-quality creative work is essential.
Key Technical and Creative Skills
Applicants should be highly proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, including tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator. A strong grasp of layout principles, typography, and visual storytelling is required, as well as the ability to work comfortably in collaborative, cross-functional environments while handling several projects at once.
Accessibility and Delivery Environment
This role also requires awareness of accessibility standards, including WCAG and AODA. Experience with agile or squad-based delivery models is considered beneficial.
Preferred Background
Experience in financial services or other regulated industries is advantageous. Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms, hands-on use of Figma, and prior agency experience are all nice-to-have additions to your profile.
