Frontend Developer (HTML, CSS)

Role Overview

This is a remote hourly contract opportunity for a Frontend Developer focused on building polished web interfaces with HTML and CSS. The position is open in the United States and is designed for a weekly commitment of 10 to 40 hours.

Compensation for this role is set at $30 to $80 per hour.

What You’ll Do

• Create adaptive, reusable interface components using current frontend development practices.
• Turn design assets into functional, responsive, and scalable web experiences.
• Work closely with UX/UI designers and backend engineers to deliver connected solutions.
• Develop frontend features with React, Angular, Vue.js, Bootstrap, and JavaScript.
• Connect frontend applications to APIs and backend systems.
• Run testing workflows to help maintain code quality and long-term reliability.
• Identify and fix issues affecting frontend speed, behavior, and user experience.

What You Need

• Advanced hands-on ability in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Practical experience working with React, Angular, Vue.js, and Bootstrap.
• Ability to convert design files into responsive user interfaces.
• Working knowledge of API integration and backend communication.
• Understanding of scalable UI structure and modular frontend patterns.
• Exposure to unit testing and automated testing methods.
• Clear communication, teamwork, and problem-solving capabilities.
