About the Team
This position sits within Digital Industry Singapore (DISG), a joint office formed by officers from EDB, ESG, and IMDA. The team focuses on creating jobs, building capabilities, developing enterprises, and driving international expansion across important local and global digital businesses.
Role Overview
The Executive Officer will support the DISG team through a mix of coordination, administration, process management, and stakeholder support. The role requires someone who can handle routine operations carefully, keep information organised, and help ensure smooth delivery of team and programme work.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide secretarial and administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, handling calls and emails, and responding to general enquiries.
- Oversee internal workflows so that DISG deadlines and compliance requirements are met, including audit- and budget-related processes.
- Keep databases updated and maintain accurate records and documentation, including activity logs and monthly stakeholder updates.
- Support the delivery of DISG programmes and initiatives by coordinating operational tasks and working with both internal teams and external partners.
- Assist with semi-annual financial planning activities to ensure they stay aligned with the organisation’s strategic priorities.
Requirements
- At least a Diploma or an equivalent qualification is required.
- Prior experience in general administrative work is needed.
- Must be a Singaporean.
Skills Needed
- Comfort with Microsoft Office applications and Outlook
- Experience using collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Skype
- Strong accuracy and close attention to detail
- Ability to manage several tasks at once
- Initiative and a cooperative team mindset
