Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site e-commerce position in the Greater Surat Area. The selected candidate will handle the daily running of online sales channels, including listing management, pricing changes, inventory alignment, and order flow. The role also involves tracking website activity and shopper behaviour, reviewing sales performance, and supporting promotions to improve conversion and revenue. In addition, the person will answer customer queries, work with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure smooth dispatches, and coordinate with marketing and design teams to keep product information accurate, appealing, and up to date. Collaboration with partners and marketplaces may also be required to ensure a consistent brand presence across all online platforms.
Responsibilities
- Manage everyday activity across online selling channels, including product uploads, catalogue upkeep, and price revisions.
- Coordinate stock availability, order handling, and fulfilment with internal operations teams.
- Monitor website performance, buyer behaviour, and sales trends to identify improvement opportunities.
- Support campaigns, offers, and promotional activity aimed at increasing conversions and sales.
- Respond to customer questions and assist in resolving issues to maintain a positive service experience.
- Work closely with logistics and warehouse teams to support timely and accurate deliveries.
- Partner with marketing and design teams to ensure product content remains correct, attractive, and brand-aligned.
- Assist in marketplace and partner coordination to preserve a uniform brand image across channels.
Requirements
- A solid background in commerce, with prior exposure to e-commerce or retail operations being an advantage.
- Ability to analyse sales data, review key metrics, and use insights for informed decision-making.
- Good communication skills for working with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Strong customer-handling capability to manage queries and solve issues professionally.
- Sales-oriented mindset to contribute to online promotions, upselling, and cross-selling efforts.
- Working knowledge of e-commerce platforms, order management tools, and basic Excel or Google Sheets.
- Willingness to work on-site in the Greater Surat Area within a fast-moving, collaborative team environment.
- A bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.
Additional Information
Salary range: 40,000 to 55,000 per month.
