This is a senior leadership position focused on enterprise operations, governance, and execution excellence within a complex, multi-stakeholder environment in the United States. The role is designed to turn broad business strategy into practical plans that create measurable gains in efficiency, growth, and organizational performance. Core accountabilities

Set and steer the operational strategy and multi-year roadmap so it stays aligned with enterprise priorities and transformation goals.
Own the portfolio of strategic initiatives, including prioritization, governance, allocation of resources, and tracking of value delivered.
Partner with executive leaders as a trusted advisor on business direction, investment choices, and growth opportunities.
Coordinate work across Development, Finance, IT, Commercial, and other functions to keep execution aligned and connected.
Create governance structures, regular operating rhythms, and clear decision-rights for strategic programs.
Prepare executive-level reporting, performance insights, and risk/opportunity assessments to inform leadership decisions.
Support post-implementation reviews, ongoing improvement efforts, and operational excellence across initiatives.
Develop scalable operating models, tools, and frameworks that improve consistency in execution and overall organizational effectiveness.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate is an experienced strategic operator with strong financial judgment, enterprise-level thinking, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders in complex settings. You should have substantial experience in strategy, operations, transformation, consulting, or portfolio/program management, along with a history of delivering tangible business results.

Requirements

At least 12 years of experience in strategy, operations, business transformation, consulting, or program and portfolio management within complex organizations.
Demonstrated experience leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives and enterprise portfolios.
Strong analytical and financial modeling capability, including NPV analysis, business case creation, and performance monitoring.
Experience in regulated or highly complex sectors such as healthcare, life sciences, biotech, or MedTech is strongly preferred.
Proven track record of influencing executive stakeholders and building alignment across competing priorities.
Solid knowledge of operational excellence methods, governance structures, and performance management systems.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to turn detailed analysis into concise executive recommendations.
Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-moving, matrixed environments.
Ability to combine quantitative and qualitative information into strategic insights and actionable plans.
Background in consulting, investment banking, or internal strategy/operations leadership is an advantage.
