Custodian - Facilities

Overview

AWARE is hiring a custodian for its facilities team in Missoula, Montana. Key Duties

• Buy materials and equipment in line with company policy.
• Carry out small repairs and upkeep work on the facility, such as replacing bulbs, fixing minor leaks, and flagging larger maintenance concerns.
• Complete monthly safety checks for the center.
• Maintain MSDS documentation to support health and safety compliance.
• Take part in Safety Committee meetings.
• Coordinate maintenance work and repair services as needed.
• Keep the cleaning schedule for AWARE facilities up to date and followed.

Requirements

• Strong familiarity with standard janitorial practices.
• Ability to diagnose issues, make repairs, and identify practical cost-conscious solutions.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and with a range of coworkers.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of maintenance experience.
