Role Overview

Lightcast is looking for a Custodian to join its facility management team in Moscow, Idaho. This position helps keep the workplace clean, safe, organized, and welcoming for employees and visitors. It is well suited to someone with 1–2 years of custodial background who values dependable work, takes ownership of standards, and can support daily office operations through cleaning and facility care.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation across offices, shared spaces, break areas, kitchen appliances and surfaces, conference rooms, and restrooms.
• Empty waste and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal.
• Track cleaning and kitchen stock, then restock items such as napkins, utensils, plates, and paper products.
• Identify and communicate minor maintenance concerns and assist with simple facility-related tasks.
• Work according to safety practices to help keep the environment clean, secure, and free from hazards.
• Assist with outdoor upkeep when needed, including snow clearing and basic weed control.
• Carry out assigned duties consistently to support a polished, business-ready office.

Experience and Qualifications

• Prior custodial experience of 1–2 years is preferred.
• Working knowledge of cleaning methods, tools, and chemicals.
• Hands-on experience with general cleaning, furniture care, mopping, waste handling, and sanitizing.
• Capability to help with snow removal and light weed maintenance, and to lift 50+ lbs when required.
• Good communication, reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions and perform tasks independently.
• Comfort managing priorities with limited supervision.
