Role overview
This position is focused on collecting and delivering parcels in a careful, accurate, and punctual manner. The courier is expected to verify package contents, keep shipments secure, and deliver a high standard of customer service throughout each route.
Key duties
- Pick up and drop off packages safely while following assigned routes and meeting strict timing requirements.
- Check and scan parcel contents to make sure the order details are correct at collection and delivery points.
- Offer professional customer service and handle parcels in a way that keeps them protected and secure.
- Immediately report failed deliveries, damaged items, or address problems.
- Carry out additional tasks when requested.
Education and experience
A secondary school education, or an equivalent qualification, is required. Candidates should also have at least one year of professional driving experience.
Licence and capability requirements
Applicants must hold an Australian licence in one of the following classifications: minimum C class car licence or minimum medium rigid (MR) truck licence.
