About the role
HelloFresh is hiring a Content Strategist for its UK Marketing team, supporting both HelloFresh and Green Chef. The role calls for a Meta-first strategist who can translate audience and performance insights into high-performing creative work that drives purchases, while still protecting and strengthening the brand. You will help establish a disciplined testing culture, guide work from concept through delivery with both internal teams and external partners, and move quickly so learnings can be reused and improved over time. This is an opportunity to help shape a strong creative function within a fast-growing, category-leading business.
What you will do
- Take ownership of Meta creative experimentation by creating and managing the testing roadmap, including hypotheses, creative directions and prioritisation, then scaling the ideas that prove successful across HelloFresh and Green Chef.
- Use campaign data to shape creative decisions, analysing metrics such as hit rate, hook rate, CPM, CTR, conversions and CAC to decide what to scale, refine or stop each sprint.
- Build a deeper understanding of the audience by reviewing customer feedback, interviews and outside sources such as Reddit, then turning those insights into problems, personas and angle-led briefs.
- Support influencer marketing activity through talent sourcing, briefing and execution, making sure the output works for both organic and paid channels.
- Manage creative production by coordinating and expanding a network of freelance designers, videographers and agency partners, while maintaining a consistently high standard of delivery.
- Run the full testing workflow from brief to production to analysis and documentation, ensuring each experiment is closed out properly and the learning system improves over time.
- Use AI and creative technology to speed up ideation and iteration, build scalable workflows and work confidently across modern creative tools.
- Collaborate closely with Growth, Brand, Analytics and Discounts teams so creative strategy supports broader UK business priorities.
What you will bring
- Strong direct-to-consumer experience with deep knowledge of Meta, including account structure, campaign setup and testing approaches, ideally from a senior role in e-commerce, food or subscription-based businesses.
- A high standard for execution, with a sharp eye for copy and design and a strong commitment to the brand’s tone of voice and visual consistency.
- Strong creative and messaging judgement, with the ability to turn complex insights into one clear idea and produce precise briefs and concepts that support conversion.
- Comfort with performance data and the ability to translate metrics such as hook rate, CPM, CTR, CAC and conversion data into actionable creative choices.
- Experience managing freelancers, videographers and agencies with disciplined briefing, quality control and delivery management.
- Confidence using AI tools to accelerate ideation and production, along with working knowledge of tools such as nano-banana, MagicBrief, Superads, Celtra, Smartly, Figma, Canva and Adobe.
- A systems-oriented mindset that brings structure to experimentation and builds processes that generate compounding gains over time.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to work toward acquisition goals while contributing evidence-based input to P&L discussions.

This position requires the independent right to work in the UK, as sponsorship is not available.
